Scholastic BOGO Book Fair

West Side is having their Buy One, Get One Free Scholastic Book Fair in the library this week! Students will have an opportunity to purchase books at the book fair during their regular library visits. The book fair will also be open during Kindergarten Round-Up on Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. and on Thursday evening during Family Reading Night from 4:30-7:00 P.M. PLEASE PLAN TO COME AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS GREAT DEAL!

 

Family Reading Night

Thursday, April 24 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. is Family Reading Night at West Side! The theme for the evening is lemonade and library books. All families are encouraged to come for a wonderful time of reading while sipping on lemonade! After reading a book, students can then demonstrate how they take Accelerated Reader tests in the computer lab. It will be a GREAT evening!
  

Concord Night at the Silver Hawks Game

Friday, April 25 is Concord Night at the Silver Hawks stadium. Students who complete all 4 bases in Swoop's Reading Club will receive a coupon for a FREE ticket to the game Additional tickets can be ordered through the school for $8.00 each for parents, friends, and family that would like to attend the game.
Swoop's Reading Club
Concord will NOT be able to provide transportation to the game. Order forms for additional tickets will be sent home the week of March 24. Additional ticket orders must be turned in to the school by Friday, April 4.

Students will need to be at the stadium by 6:30 in order to participate in the on-field recognition at 7:00 for Swoop's Reading Club. The game begins at 7:35.​

Budget Challenges for Concord
